Ken Ham is the founder and president of Answers in Genesis (AiG)–U.S. and the acclaimed Creation Museum, located in Petersburg, Kentucky, which opened its doors in May of 2007. His focus is on upholding the authority of the Bible, beginning with the very first verse, and he places emphasis the relevance of the book of Genesis to the life of the average Christian. One of the most in-demand Christian conference speakers and communicators, Ken speaks to tens of thousands of children and adults each year on such topics as the reliability of the Bible and how the compromise of biblical authority has undermined society. He has the ability to reflect on some the “hot button” topics of our day, relate them to the Book of Genesis, and provide biblical and scientific answers to some of the most difficult questions people ask about the Christian faith. He is a frequent guest on national TV talk-show programs and his daily radio feature, Answers ... with Ken Ham is braodcast on more than 900 stations. A native of Australia, Ken received his bachelor’s degree in applied science with an emphasis in environmental biology at the Queensland Institute of Technology and his diploma of education from the University of Queensland and began his initial career as a public school science teacher before moving to America in 1987. He is the author or coauthor of numerous books on the topic of Genesis, including the best-selling The Lie: Evolution, Darwin’s Plantation: Evolution’s Racist Roots, War of the Worldviews, and How Could a Loving God...? He also writes for the Answers in Genesis website and magazine, and has produced a number of popular video and audio series. Ken and his wife, Mally, have five children and four grandchildren, and reside in the Cincinnati, Ohio, area.
