Volunteer

Volunteers support and enable our staff in many areas and play a key role in our ministry as they represent the Lord Jesus Christ and this ministry to thousands of visitors and guests who come to The Cove each year.

Chatlos Memorial Chapel Volunteers

Our Visitors Center at the Chatlos Memorial Chapel is open year-round and is staffed almost entirely by volunteers who serve as tour guides, not only sharing a history of The Cove and introducing others to the life and ministry of Dr. Billy Graham, but also sharing the love of Christ as they welcome visitors from around the world.

Events Volunteers

We also look to volunteers to serve in areas related to our seminars and other program events. Volunteers welcome guests with a warm smile! On the first day of a seminar, program volunteers distribute participant notebooks and help guests with the selection of program activities. During our annual Women’s Bible Study, they may serve as a hostess or small group leader. Volunteers also help with a variety of office tasks that might involve telephone calling, making copies, typing, proofreading, collation, etc.

Prayer Intercessors

Prayer intercessors support the program, staff, and participants of the Billy Graham Training Center by participating in a ministry of prayer.

Property Service Volunteers

Property service volunteers help with technical, building, and/or grounds maintenance and also may assist with safety administration.
